Nightwing- the ending of The Dark Knight Rises is a set up?

Prior to the release of Christopher Nolan’s final Batman film, The Dark Knight Rises, the rumor mill was running rampant on how Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s character might fit into the superhero-villain-heroine mix created by appearances from Batman, Bane, and Catwoman, respectively. While there are plenty of “normal” people in the Nolan trilogy (Commissioner Gordon and Alfred, among others) casting an up-and-comer like Levitt as an everyman police officerraised a few eyebrows and caused plenty of fan speculation. Would Levitt make an appearance as an unannounced villain (such as The Riddler) or possibly a superhero sidekick (such as Robin)?
Now that the film is out, we know that Levitt’s character, John Blake is Robin in both name and character, but as usual, Nolan wasn’t going to spell anything out. Despite a lot of carefully constructed arguments from the fan community about Blake’s post-Rises adventures, Joseph Gordon-Levitt recently confirmed that the filmmakers never talked about which “suit” (Batman, Nightwing, Robin, etc) the character would wear – when, and if, he actually took over for Bruce Wayne.
After the closing reveal of The Dark Knight Rises, many moviegoers (and media members), began hammering Levitt for answers about a possible sequel featuring the John Blake character. The actor quickly dismissed talk of a follow-up – claiming that the studio had not approached him about it and that, for him, reprising the role would be dependent on the quality of the script.

Superman Batman together on the big screen? Rumor for movie in 2015

Hey guys, you will never believe what I just discovered- batman and superman might have a movie with each other! Of course, there are some technicalities, and the fact that the movie has to be after superman 2 AND Nightwing brings the question of exactly HOW MANY MOVIES can DC make with basically the same two characters.
Personally, I think they should go for it, I mean,  I love both the characters and would love to see more of them. Who knows, they might even be able to clarify the batman vs superman argument. Some more green lantern might be nice though, before more super/bat.

If the movie was to be made,  Harry Cahill would play superman, but getting Cristian Bale to play batman YET AGAIN might be a problem. Another issue is the fact that Christopher Nolan has made quite a name for himself, and the mo is would definitely loose some steam if we don't see his name on the screen.

How about you guys? Would you like to see another superman/batman movie? What are some other characters you would like to see on the big screen? Comment on this!

MOVIE NEWS!

Harry Cavill man of Steel needs Nerves of steel...

"I guess you can say Henry was born to play Superman," says Snyder, noting the actor's physical similarities. "But all these life experiences have come together. He's gone through a journey. In our movie, Clark Kent gets jostled around by life and then becomes Superman. Henry has done the same thing."
Cavill already has had an impressive career, including roles in 2002's The Count of Monte Cristo, Showtime's The Tudors and 2011's Immortals (which had a No. 1 opening weekend with $32 million).
But he also has shrugged off high-profile setbacks such as losing out to Daniel Craig for the role of James Bond.
"Having had all the ups and downs maybe made me want to work all the harder," Cavill says. "Yeah, bad things will happen to you. And you'll get kicked (down) a few times. Stand up."

The character of a superhero is iconic by definition and arguably none more so than that of Superman. Henry Cavill is the latest actor to don the iconic cape and 'S' shield in the upcoming movie 'Man of Steel.'
